For using Netsurf Screenmode must be changed to 32bit

Configuration Data for UAE:

68020, JIT (with FPU enabled), FPU 68881, RAM: Chip 8 MB, Slow 1,5 MB, Z3 Fast 512 MB, 32-bit Chip 512 MB, Expansion bsdsocket.library / uaescsi.device, Display Native + RTG Full-Window

Be careful! WinUAE has old ROM included, Aros Vision needs newer ones (included in directiry “boot” of the distribution

WHDLoad fully works (Aros Roms preinstalled). Not all games run with it and need original Roms instead. List with compatible games is here. It also works in Scalos (when icons are shown, not in list mode).

In both versions GUI can be changed between Wanderer, Scalos and Magellan by using a different startup-sequences in S (all 3 are included). When using Scalos do not use JIT (WinUAE)

There are three different options for GUI:

Wanderer and Zune
Scalos and Zune
Scalos and MUI

The locale and input prefs do not work, but I have developed a workaround.

To change locale: I have precreated different “locale” files in directory “locales”. Simply copy the suited locale preferences file to “Sys:Prefs/Env-Archive/Sys”. The original locale prefs from 3.1. work.

To change input (keyboard): Put “SetKeyboard xxx” in “User-Startup”. xxx can be pc104_usa, pc105_al, pc105_cz, pc105_d, pc105_dk, pc105_f, pc105_fin, pc105_nl. Example is “SetKeyBoard pc105_d” changes to german keyboard.

Scalos Prefs crash now and then, so save changes.

Arexx can be added by copying RexxMast in C and rexxsyslib.library in Libs (from original installations).

Scalos only works when JIT is disabled.

Copy “Installer” in C (from original installation) to add full installer support

It is possible to replace Zune with MUI (disadvantage is that Wanderer does not work anymore, (only Scalos) and Preferences must be replaced because they are dependent on Zune).

Manual to install MUI:

from MUI38user copy libs+locale in libs+locale of the distribution
copy Files from Classes/Zune (distribution) in libs/MUI (distribution). That is needed because MUI expects the classes in a subdir below the dir with the library files.
copy Prefs from a original installation or amigaforever (best are preferences from 3.1.) or make Prefs using Wanderer before installing MUI (=copying files).

After that you can only use Scalos.

Tips for using the emulators:

In DosBox put in “mount C: Sys:Dosbox” (or another directory). DOS-Games can be downloaded from classicdosgames.com
Vice (C64): Before create Assign on directory with the games. ESC=Run/Stop and use Numpad in preferences for joystick.
